And today's adventure was at Istana Woodneuk! Just some background info... Istana Woodneuk is an abandoned mansion once belonging to Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor. The mansion is said to have been built in the late 19th century for the Sultan’s fourth wife, Sultana Khadijah. Before she died in this house in 1904, the Sultana sold the property to Sultan Abu Bakar’s son, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar. He rebuilt Istana Woodneuk in the 1930s for his Scottish born wife Helen Bartholomew. Subsequently, the house has also been used as Generals’ headquarters and a military hospital.Istana Woodneuk has endured the test of time, nature and human brutality. The mansion was subject to the bombing of the Japanese in 1942, killing approximately 700 medics and patients, and was ferociously attacked by a fire circa 2006 which burned down its glorious blue roof.

The amount of courage I used to walk through this dark path which looks bright now cus flash!

Forged new friendships! I was too scared to walk through this alley that is like so dark and creepy. There was these kiddos snapping in the house too, hence I was like "Hi guys, did you all go to the dark corridor? Shall we go together?" That's how friendships are formed yo! They are so friendly and humorous they made the trip way more fun. Hi friends!

And we are done! Istana woodneuk off the list!

Then I went to meet my socks for dinner at sweechoon and have a mini catch up! Love you girls! So glad I met you all. :) 

Super thankful for everyone who loved me for who I am, constantly showing me care and concern. I'm not sure if I deserve you all but you all definitely deserve the best.

I loveeeeeeeeee to visit beautiful places.

Today was such a happy happy HAPPY day! Met up with Josh and we went on our adventure. It's so nice to find a friend with a similar hobby! So I met up with Josh without knowing where we were going to go. And apparently, he planned out an amazing schedule so good job joshie! We took the plane to China and to Japan!

So we arrived at China and here are some of the beautiful pictures taken. 

So we crossed the bridge to enter Japan! 

oops and back to Singapore! Went on our evening trip on an empty train and apparently it's my favourite place of the day! Thing we do on an empty train ya?

The light house was so cute.

The night view was breath taking. Apparently, we went to watch the sunset. There was no one there and we just watched the sea and listened to the wave. The city was a distance away and it looked beautiful from where we were. 

Which makes me wonder.

The city, which looks so beautiful from afar, is actually so chaotic.

The place I'm at, has nothing and it looks so dull, has a picturesque view.

Block out the noises, and watch from afar, and really, nothing in that life across the sea mattered.

For a second, nothing mattered, and I was happy.

Then I felt happy, peaceful and grateful. Like everything was in place just for once. Oh it's such a beautiful, peaceful, calm and amazing place.
